Welcome to BSI Math & Reading in Room 115!
Basic Skills Instruction (BSI) occurs in a small group setting and provides additional practice opportunities in an effort to reach classroom learning goals. Lessons focus on many areas of literacy development including phonemic awareness, fundations, sight word development, fluency, comprehension, and creative writing. Enrollment in the BSI program results from teacher recommendations, classroom performance, and/or test scores.
I'm extremly excited to be apart of the TJ family, and to work with your children! I am a graduate of the Richard Stockton College of NJ and I received my Teaching Certicate (K-6) from Fairleigh Dickinson University. In December 2014, I completed my Masters Degree in Elementary Education from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
