Mr. Domenick C. Renzi “Bells School: Educating All, Educating Well”Welcome to the Bells School website!It is with great pride and pleasure that I introduce myself to you as the principal of Bells Elementary School. Bells School has a reputation for an exemplary staff that is highly student-centered and dedicated to making learning a priority. The continuing connection between school and home is vital in your child’s success at school. We value the opportunity to work with you as partners to ensure that your child experiences meaningful growth academically, socially, and emotionally this year. Being a student at Bells School can be an interesting and exciting experience. The staff and I are planning a challenging, busy and with your help, rewarding year. We continually strive the meet the diverse needs of our learners. This year, our school motto is “Educating All, Educating Well.” Let me tell you a little about myself. I graduated from Washington Township High School before I went on to graduate from Rowan University with Bachelor’s Degrees in Elementary Education and Mathematics. I graduated again from Rowan University, this time with a Master’s Degree in School Administration. I spent my entire teaching career at Bells School. During my first year at Bells, I taught Basic Skills Mathematics. Then, I taught fifth grade for 11 years. In 2007, I began my career in school administration. I served as one of two Supervisors of Elementary Education in the Washington Township School District. This opportunity allowed for me to work in Birches, Wedgwood and Whitman Elementary Schools where I focused on improving and enhancing curriculum and instruction. My time away from Bells School did not last long. In the summer of 2008, I was selected to build upon the fabulous educational community already in existence. This year will be my second year as the principal of Bells School. I end this letter with a quotation from Ralph Waldo Emerson: "Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm." I am confident that over the next few weeks you will share my enthusiasm. Together, we will make your Bells School experience a rewarding and enjoyable one.
