Broadway in South Jersey Series Announces Dates
for Commerce Bank Arts Centre
WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP - Five exciting shows await, as the Commerce Bank Arts Centre on Thursday announced the Kennedy Health System 2007-2008 Broadway in South Jersey series. The series includes the following shows:
Commerce Bank Arts Centre subscribers can order tickets to the shows before they go on sale to the public. Two subscription packages are available: The Classic Series (four shows, not including Blast!) and the Premiere Series (all five shows).
Classic Series packages are available for a cost of $205 for Level 1 seats, $185 for Level 2 seats, and $170 for Level 3 seats. Premiere Series packages are available for a cost of $243 for Level 1, $218.50 for Level 2, and $198 for Level 3.
To order a subscription package, call (856) 218-8902, or stop by the CBAC Box Office (529 Hurffville-Cross Keys Road, Sewell, NJ 08080) during normal business hours: Monday through Friday from 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.; and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Cirque Dreams - Thursday, December 13, 2007 at 7:30pm - Cirque Dreams is a 90-minute, two-act performance which includes an international cast of acrobats, contortionists and aerialists. Artistic director Neil Goldberg's style of inventive acrobatics, costuming, choreography and music are enhanced with some of the most striking visual and ultraviolet effects ever presented on stage. Cirque Dreams is an amazing show that the whole family will enjoy!
Chicago - Tuesday, January 22, 2008 at 7:30 p.m. - Chicago is the winner of six Tony Awards and one of Broadway's most popular musicals. It is the tale of greed, murder and showbiz, as two women in jail, Roxie and Velma, battle over the limelight while singing hit songs such as "All That Jazz" and "Razzle Dazzle." You will not want to miss The New York Times acclaimed "Best Musical in Town!"
BLAST! - Tuesday, March 18, 2008 at 7:30 p.m. - BLAST!, the winner of the 2001 Tony Award for "Best Theatrical Event" and 2001 Emmy Award for "Best Choreography," is making its second appearance at CBAC on Tuesday, March 18th at 7:30pm. Originally, BLAST! was formed by the Star of Indiana Drum and Bugle Corps competing in Midwestern fields. Today BLAST! performers will take the stage using trumpets, mellophones, tubas, french horns and a full array of percussion instruments that will blow the audience away!
Ring of Fire, The Johnny Cash Musical Show - Monday, April 14, 2008 at 7:30 p.m. - Ring of Fire is a unique musical about love and faith, struggle and success, rowdiness and redemption, and home and family. Evita - Thursday, May 8, 2008 at 7:30 p.m. - Evita is the musical which brings to life the dynamic, larger-than-life personality of Eva Perón, wife of the former Argentine dictator Juan Perón. Featuring classic songs such as "Don't Cry for Me Argentina" and the new Oscar-winning "You Must Love Me" from the 1996 film, Evita tells the story of Eva's life from her rise to power to her tragic death.
