Orchard Valley Middle School Students Among Leaders in
National Current Events League Competition

WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP - Orchard Valley Middle School students have placed in the top three places nationwide for the 2007-08 National Current Events League competition.

The sixth-grade team placed second in the nation, and team member Pearis Bellamy was honored as one of the national leaders for the 2007-08 competition. The school’s 7th and 8th-grade teams both placed third nationally.

All of Mrs. Nancy Mazgajewski’s humanities students participate in this national competition along with other social studies students who have been recommended by their teachers.
