Washington Township Kindergarten Pre-Registration To Open in February

WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP - Pre-registration for the Washington Township kindergarten class of 2008-09 at the Grenloch Terrace Early Childhood Center will begin Monday, February 11, 2008. If you are a parent of a child who will be five years old on or before October 15, 2008, the District invites you to call the Washington Township Public Schools' registration office (589-6644, x6698) to obtain a kindergarten registration packet.

The packet will be mailed directly to the home and will contain an appointment time for the registration process. Please note that registration in the District requires a copy of your child's immunization record (including proof of the Hepatitis B series and the Varicella vaccines that are now required for admission to kindergarten), an original birth certificate and proof of residency. Class and transportation assignments will not be made until all required paperwork is completed.

An interested parent/guardian will have an opportunity at registration to sign up for a bus trip with their child from Washington Township Lake Park to the Grenloch Terrace Early Childhood Center for a first-hand look at the facility. Kindergarten sessions will be posted for the 2008-09 school year in July.
