Washington Township High School IMC to Spearhead Eyeglass Collection
to Benefit the Lions Club of Turnersville

WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP - In conjunction with National Read Across America Day on March 3, 2008, Washington Township High School Librarians Ann Hill and Stephanie Gaughan are spearheading the collection of old eyeglasses to support a recycling campaign by the Lions Club of Turnersville, NJ. Washington Township's Margaret Heggan Library is also joining in the community service project as are a number of elementary and middle school libraries throughout the District interested in giving the gift of sight.

Drop boxes for donations will be available in the libraries to accept the eyeglasses.
