WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP – Thirty-four Washington Township High School senior student-athletes recently announced their plans to continue their athletic careers in college, signing National Letters of Intent during the NCAA’s spring signing period. Those seniors were honored in a group celebration on Tuesday, May 23, 2017, in the Play House at WTHS.
The program included addresses from WTHS Director of Athletics Kevin Murphy and Principal Ann Moore. The students who were honored for their college decisions include:

- Emily Bartus (softball) – Rutgers University-Newark
- Kyra Bevenour (volleyball) – University of Scranton
- Erika Coreth (softball) – Monmouth University
- Nichole Czermanski (cheerleading) – Drexel University
