WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP – Students in Mrs. Jackie Bradford’s Intro to Culinary class recently welcomed Chef Tiana Howell from the Art Institute of Philadelphia for a program on her career. Howell discussed the variety of programs available for students who wants a hands-on educational experience, like the culinary arts.
While Howell is a professional pastry chef, she is skilled in all parts of the kitchen. She showed the WTHS students how to make a mean salsa with canned tomatoes and fresh ingredients.
In the attached photo, Chef Howell (second from left) poses with WTHS students including (left to right) Ava Henson, Kymhalee Wizzart, Jon Hand, Ali Bocchicchio, Amelia Alminde and Giavana Marotta (front, kneeling).
