WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP – Whitman Elementary School faculty and staff participated in the “Get Your Rear in Gear” two-mile walk on Sunday morning, March 22, 2015, starting at the Please Touch Museum in Philadelphia. The walk raised funds for colon cancer research and also helps increase awareness into early prevention and checkups through the Colon Cancer Coalition.
The Whitman staff group walked in memory of friend, colleague and former Whitman third-grade teacher Mrs. Deborah Pracilio, who passed away in April 2014.
