First-grade students in Maggie Herrera’s class at Wedgwood Elementary School proudly rolled out number scrolls that they have been creating throughout the school year. The scrolls started at number one and grew as the students kept adding numbers onto their scrolls. The activity, organized by BSI math teacher Domenick Renzi, helped the students write numbers in order and learn patterns that exist on a number grid.
