Mr. Appello is the Band Director for Wedgwood School. He teaches the 4^th grade beginners and the 5^th Grade advanced students. Lessons begin in September for the 5^th grade and October for the 4^th grade students. 4^th Grade students are provided a lesson during the school day. 5^th Grade students are provided a lesson and a band rehearsal during the day.  
 

Students are required to practice 15-20 minutes a day in order to improve on their instruments. Practice is the key to success on any instrument. There is a practice sheet the students fill out and their parents sign to help show progress.
 

All the improvement and hard work finally pays off at the Annual Spring Concert. Usually in March, the students perform a night of beautiful music.
