Parent and Community Involvement: Parents and community members were involved in Whitman School activities throughout the year. Parents not only help with home and school activities, parties, and trips, but read to students in the classrooms, shared crafts, skills and careers; shared their culture, customs and celebrations; and volunteered as coaches and judges for the district Tech Meet.
Communication Envelopes: In an effort to improve the communication lines between home and school, we are maintaining our current communication system, which we refer to as the “Communication Envelope”.
