Ø      Respect yourself, the teacher and your peers

Ø      Stop, Look, and Listen when whistle blows

Ø      One person speaks at a time

Fitness Testing
3rd-5th Graders

  • Sit-ups
  • Standing Broad Jump
  • Sit and Reach
  • Pull-ups/Flex Arm Hang
  • Shuttle Run
  • 600/1 mile run (4th and 5th selected students)
  • 50 yd Dash

    We use the norms from the President's Physical Fitness Challenge beginning with the eighty-fifth percentile.

    85 and up = 15 points

    70-80 = 12 points

    55-65 = 10 points

    40-50 = 8 points

    35 and below = 5 points

    The top five test scores are added to arrive at a total score.  Those students scoring 64-68 points will receive a Honor Award.  Those students scoring 69-75 points will receive an Excellence Award.
