WTEF

Created in 1996, WTEF is a non-profit organization formed to support the Washington Township Public Schools. WTEF has contributed over $150,000 to various school projects.

10th Annual Golf Outing

Friday, May 5, 2006. at White Oaks Country Club, Newfield, NJ
Chairpersons: Gary Knight, Tom Spearing.
This event has been the major fundraiser to benefit WTPS students.

Washington Township Family Night

PHILADELPHIA 76ERS vs. CHICAGO BULLS
Make your child¹s education be the best it can be and help raise money for the Washington Township Education Foundation. In addition, take advantage of discounted tickets and free food and enjoy the 76ers with family, neighbors and friends on Wednesday, April 5th at 7:00.

WTEF Fund Distribution

  • $10,000 is distributed by the WTEF each year, on a rotating basis, to the elementary, middle, and high school
  • Monies also go to Project Graduation annually
  • Monies were donated by the WTEF to build an Art Gallery in the Fine Arts Center
  • Monies from the WTEF help pay for a dance studio at the high school

Other WTEF Funds helped purchase:

  • Green house, Bunker Hill
  • Playground equipment: Grenloch Terrace
  • Virtual trips for elementary school students
  • Assembly programs
  • Astronauts  visits
  • Childrens authors visits
  • Dictionaries to all 3rd graders (co-sponsored with another township service organization)
