Nominations Being Accepted for the November 2008 Induction
With the Class of 2005 Induction on November 26, 2005 a resounding success, it is
now time to look ahead to our next Sports Hall Fame Induction scheduled for November 2008. Nominations can now be submitted for consideration for this next induction. Please note that any previous nominations are kept on file and are considered every three years during the review and selection process by the Executive Committee.
If you had submitted a nomination form previously, we still have it on file. If you would like to submit a nomination, please click on the link to the right “Nominations.” Then click on either the PDF or Microsoft Word formatted nomination form. Complete the form, including High School Honors, Collegiate Athletic Participation, and Post Collegiate recognition if applicable. If you would like to update a previously submitted nomination form, that may now include additional post-high school participation and/or recognition by the nominee, the Executive Committee encourages you to submit a new nomination form.
The WTHS Sports Hall of Fame maintains a display in the lobby outside the high school 9/10 Wing gymnasium with plaques of all previous inductees.
The WTHS Sports Hall of Fame counts on the support of its community businesses, service organizations, parent booster clubs/organizations, and community patrons to maintain this outstanding recognition program on an ongoing basis every three years.
