  • Library of Congress Educators Page -Created to help educators use the American Memory Historical Collections - includes lesson plans The American Memory Historical Collections contain documents, motion pictures, photographs, and sound recordings of important events in the history of the United States.
  • Example: Port of Entry is a sample lesson highlighting the immigrant experience in American life. Students assume the role of historical detective and travel back in time to the turn of the century.
