The Rise of Big Business

We have been discussing big business in the late 1800s. You are given
three choices to show off your talents.
Choices
Choice #1
You may show off your skills as an artist by creating a political cartoon on
any of the topics that we discussed. This would include the captains of
industry, the labor unions, or sweatshops. This is your opportunity to
show off your artistic and humorous side. This will be done on small
poster board.
Choice #2
Write a Biography of any of the individuals that we have discuss i.e.;
captains of industry, labor leaders, etc. You need to do research for this
paper. The biography must be typed, 12 font, double space with a cover
page. The length is five full pages which includes the cover and
bibliography page. In other words, three full pages of concrete
information. You need to do a bibliography page with at lest 3
sources. I will not accept three pages of information copied off an
internet site. This will result in a failing grade.
Choice #3
Write and perform a song relating to the rise of big business in the late
1800s. This is the opportunity for you to show us your talents in writing
and performing. The song may be a rap song, a folk song, etc. You
will turn in the words to the song. You will be graded on your performance
and writing skills.
