Directions
You can reach your objective by following one of the two paths.
- You will begin the game at the lowest possible
position.
- In order to move up to the next position, you
must complete each task. There is no skipping of steps. Maximum
movement is two steps per day.
- Certain tasks must be performed in order to
obtain either fiefs or blessing. At the end of the game, each fief or
blessing is worth one point, but you cannot get a grade higher than the steps
above you.

Bartering and Trading - You are able to trade various items or favors for
other students' fiefs or blessings. Trading is entirely up to you.
Get what you can!
Favors for the Pope
the Pope is a
virtuous, noble and kind person
- The Pope is able to grant land or blessings at
his/her discretion. If the Pope sees a friendly act or receives a favor
from a subject, he/she may give a fief or blessing to that person
- The Pope can take away fiefs and blessings for
any unfriendly acts that are witnessed.
- The Pope can also remove or demote a person
from their position.
- Remember, the Pope is all powerful - they who
question the Pope's authority beware! You can be excommunicated, which
is equal to a 0 and phone call home.
Robbery - You must always keep your eyes
and hands on your property. Thieves run rampant in the Middle Ages.
Thieves will be punished and may face excommunication, if they are caught.
