About Us
Mission Meet the Librarians Hours
The mission of the Washington
Township High School Instructional Media Center is to support the district's mission
by providing a learning laboratory where students are taught to be
problem solvers, information seekers, avid readers and lifelong learners
so as to fully participate in a global society. Washington
Township IMC is the intellectual hub of the school's integrated
curriculum and the center for learning and research. The
teacher-librarians are
collaborative partners with the teachers and students in promoting
academic achievement by
enabling students to access, evaluate use and
transform information successfully.
This mission is accomplished through the attainment of goals in three categories: Teaching & Learning, Information Access & Delivery, and Program Administration.
