Welcome to the 2017-2018 School Year!

Hello, welcome to my page.  My name is Walter Johnson, and I teach 6th & 7th grade Computers and Financial Literacy, as well as 6th grade Keyboarding.   I have been teaching Business and Computer Science courses for 15 years throughout different school districts both in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.  I have taught on both elementary and secondary levels.  I hold an adjunct position through Mercer County College, where I teach Marketing and Consumer Behavior coursework during summer months.

On the side panel are basic course documents, web resources, videos and other reinforcement activities. You will also see links to Blackboard and EduTyping websites where most of the work are completed for my classes. Blackboard is where all Financial Literacy assignments are retrieved and submitted for grading when finished.  EduTyping.com is where keyboarding students complete their classwork assignments.  Both sites are accessible 24 hours every day for students to check to see what assignments have been handed in and which ones are still missing.

The majority of our grades in class are through production work completed in class.  What is not completed during class time should be completed outside of class and submitted in a timely manner.  Typically, their are two to three assignments due each week. Fridays are used for fixing and finishing all work.  Friday is also a good time to work on additional computer related assignments for other subjects if needed. I would encourage students to find time to complete all school work as soon as possible.  I am always available to provide help if needed.
