Hello Everyone!

     Welcome to my page! My name is Emily Conaway, and I am a 7th and 8th-grade Social Studies at Orchard Valley Middle School. I feel privileged to work with your students and the faculty in this wonderful school and district. Before working at OVMS, I taught social studies and humanities at Bunker Hill Middle School for four years. I am a 2013 graduate of the Richard Stockton College of New Jersey. I graduated with two BAs in Historical Studies and Elementary Education. I also have a minor in Holocaust and Genocide Studies, and a certificate for technology leadership. I am certified to teach K-6 Elementary, Special Education, and 6-8 Language Arts, and Social Studies, as well as 9-12 social studies instruction. I am a member of Kappa Delta Pi, the International Honor Society of Education, and Phi Alpha Theta, the National History Honors Society. I also hold a Master's Degree in Special Education from Rowan University and an LDTC certification from Stockton University, and a supervisor's certification from Rowan University.
