    Grade 6:

    1. Major assessments – 50% Test, Benchmarks, Projects
      1. Tests: Students use study guide and preparation in class. Pen may not be used on tests. No name on these assessments = 5 points off.
    2. Minor assessments – 35% Quizzes and Labs
      1. Quizzes will be announced. Pen may not be used on labs or quizzes (-5 points). No name = 5 points off. Labs can be group or partnered, in class (hands-on) or virtual. 8 points are deducted for each day late
    3. Supportive assessments – 15% Homework, class work, preparation, lab performance, lab activities
      1. Per the handbook, homework is accepted 1 day late for 50% credit. No credit is given after 2 days. Preparation and lab performance grades are records kept for the marking period. 5 points are deducted each day a student is not prepared with the materials listed in #1 (one number grade is given at the conclusion of the marking period).

    As the handbook states: Assignments will be taken 1 day late with a maximum of 50% credit
