And when October goes The snow begins to fly Above the smoky roofs I watch the planes go by
I Love that song! Ah Halloween has passed now; another year of singing Pumpkin Carols in Chorus Class! Humphrey the Blue-Nosed Pumpkin! You know you love him! I'm failing at this blog thing. I must be better at updating. I will try. Until then, here's a glimpse of some October...
Good afternoon student, parents, other teachers, anyone who wandered upon my page....
I'm so pleased with the opening of school this year! Under the leadership of two enthusiastic administrators, I'm confident year 21 at BHMS will be very exciting. We now have a "Bulldog Rap," and the Chorus students are excited to learn and perform it for anyone who asks.
Changes this year! We now have lessons back in for chorus students. Remember to ask permission from your teacher before coming down. You are responsible for copying down any log or info, getting homework, notes, etc. If you need to remain in your class for the first 15 minutes or so, no problem! Finish a quiz. Get the lesson notes. Come down after that. Academics take priority, so please remember to be smart. This way you will find a way to do both things! Keep an eye out next week for lesson schedules and passes. The first group of lessons will be geared toward students out in MP1 Exploratories. (Keyboarding, Art, Design Tech)
Be sure to have your 2-pocket folder and single subject notebook by Monday, 9/11. I will begin giving out music next week to start preparation for our first concert in December.
Have a great weekend, and get your rest! Here's a selfie of me holding up a picture of me and my sweet friend, Mrs. Weikel (Wechter.) I miss her! ~Ms. Dickinson :)
Hi everyone! I'm going to try keeping a blog next school year. Just updates with things we're working on and announcements. Maybe students who are out for 9 weeks in Exploratory Arts might find it helps you "stay in the loop" when you're out? I think you can subscribe to it and get updates when I make a new post.
