• How do you like the weather lately?   Sometimes it is sunny and warm and then before you know it, we get cold rainy days.  Years ago, there was a composer who loved to picture thunderstorms in his music.  His name was Gioachino Rossini.  Take some time to read a little bit about the life of Rossini.   Then listen to the link where you will hear various composers try to make their music sound like real thunderstorms.  Weather in Music  How did the composers make their music sound like real thunderstorms?  Did they use certain instruments?  Tempo?  Dynamics?  Pitch?  Mood?  Please let me know what you think by leaving me a response on the Grade 4 Response Padlet page.
