  • Lessons for Grades 3-5 (Week of 4/6-4/10)

     

     

    Learning Objectives:

    • Student learns how to close a file.
    • Student learns how to create a new document.
    • Student learns how to exit a word processing program.
    • Student learns how to open a file.
    • Student learns how to open a word processing program.
    • Student learns how to print a file.
    • Student learns how to save a file.
    • Student learns how to use the cursor.

     Secondary Objectives:

    • Student identifies and uses basic capitalization and appropriate end punctuation, including periods, question marks, and exclamation points.
    • Student understands that words are separated by spaces.
    • Student understands the difference between capital and lowercase letters.

     

     3rd Grade:

     

    -Login to typing.com (click here). Complete a FULL level before games practice. I can monitor for this! 10 minutes

    -Login to learning.com (click here)

    1. Log in using your username (eg. Ayue)
    2. Your password is your student pin number
    3. Remember, the district is “Washington Township-NJ.” Use the drop-down menu to find it.
    4. Log in to find your assignment titled “Word Processing-Basic Document Creation Level 3.”
    5. Complete assignment. I just want to know what you know. Do your best!

    ***Money BINGO is a fun and educational game for kids to practice counting money. BINGO grid size options and the ability to select difficulty (pennies, nickels, dimes, quarters and bills).
