Welcome to Read 180! I am excited to be teaching your child this year.
This is my 7th year of teaching at Thomas Jefferson and my 6th year teaching Read 180. I love watching how this program has helped to shape reluctant readers into more confident, excited learners.
A little bit about me, I have lived in New Jersey for the past 20 years with my husband and two children, Nicholas and Lauren (who are both off to college) and our two "fur babies", Maya & Zoe. There's no doubt that I'm a dog lover, I guess you could even say that I am a bit "dog crazy". As a matter of fact, that's our class theme. Dogs!!
Originally from Lake George, New York, I have enjoyed living so close to the beaches here in NJ, but I also like spending time near the mountains, trees, and lake life in LG! I enjoy hiking, camping and outdoor adventures with my family. In addition, I enjoy listening to music (country music, of course), reading and listening to audiobooks, and spending time with family and friends.
As we go through the year, if you have questions or need to contact me, please do so. It is best to reach me through email. I will always do my best to get back to you within 24 hours. I look forward to a great year ahead!
