• Athletic Trainer Eric Schwartz


    Eric Schwartz head Eric A. Schwartz joined Washington Township High School in August of 2011 as the Assistant Athletic Trainer. A native of Ewing, New Jersey, he obtained his B.S. degree in Movement and Exercise Science from East Stroudsburg University in 1998, and his Master’s degree in Health Education from The College of New Jersey in 1999. Mr. Schwartz has been a state licensed and nationally certified athletic trainer since 1999. 

    Most of Schwartz's professional career has been spent working with students in the high school setting. During the summer months he has worked various Sport Camps, Jewish Community Day and Travel Camps.   

    Over the years, Schwartz has worked various NJSIAA tournaments of champions from the wrestling individual tournaments, track and field, swimming, diving and wrestling team tournaments. His state-wide involvement has brought valuable experience to WTHS.

     Schwartz has served on the Executive Council, Secondary School, and Public Relations committees of the Athletic Trainers’ Society of New Jersey.  He currently services the ATSNJ as president-elect. In addition, for the past nine years, Mr. Schwartz has served on the NJSIAA wrestling committee as a medical consultant. He received the NJSIAA Service Award in 2008.  

    In his free time, Schwartz enjoys spending time with his family and playing golf. He currently resides in Washington Township with his wife, Rebecca, and son, Benjamin.
