Your child will bring home a leveled reader in their folder. This is the book that your child worked with in their guided reading group. Your child needs to reread this book at home. I explain to the children that they need to reread a book because it helps them to build their fluency. Please encourage your child at home. Sometimes your child will have to complete a follow-up activity with the book. The activity will be in their folder too.
