Welcome to the wonderful world of fifth grade! I look forward to a great year!

Just a little about me...

I have been an elementary school teacher for 29 years. I grew up in Audubon, NJ and graduated from Audubon High in 1984. I attended and graduated from Glassboro State College (now Rowan University) in 1988, and then started teaching at the Bancroft School in Haddonfield, where I was also a coach for the New Jersey State Special Olympics. After that, I taught for 7 years at St. Rose School in Haddon Heights. I came to Bells in 1996, and I am so glad that I did! Personally, I think Bells is the best school in our district! During the 2001-2002 school year, I had the honor of being selected as Bells "Teacher of the Year"! I was really surprised to win that award! Finally, in 2005, I graduated from Rowan with a Master's Degree in Student Personnel Services.

This year, the students in our classroom community will have me for Math and Science, Mrs. Mahoney for Language Arts, Mr. Cho for Social Studies and Mr. Burke for World Language. As well, we'll also be working with the wonderful Mrs. Iaconelli who is assigned to our classroom.

Outside of school, my wife and I enjoy reading, journaling, playing with our dogs Rodey and Jazz, and traveling.

Looking forward to a great year!
