Welcome to Fourth Grade!

It is a pleasure to be returning to TJ again this year! I began my teaching career here in the Fall of 1989 and have taught both 3rd and 4th grades.

I have a degree from Trenton State College (now known as The College of NJ) in Elementary Education: Grades K-8 with a Minor in Child Psychology.

I have taught all subjects, but since departmentalizing began, I have taught Math, Science and Social Studies. Mrs. Balkenhol and I have taught Math together for many years, so it is so exciting to be working with her again in this new, remote setting!

I am a HUGE Eagles fan, and LOVE stock car racing!

I also have a passion for health and fitness...in my free time, I can be found spinning, biking, walking, restistance training, or participating in some kind of cardio activity! I just starting learning how to  play pickle ball...wow...that's a workout! But, I do enjoy my sweets, too, so an occasional treat is not out of the question!!

I take every opportunity to make trips to North Carolina to visit my sister and brother in law and my twin niece and nephew; Izzy and Wyatt. They are in high school and involved in many activities. They are in their senior year and are beginning to look at colleges! Izzy participates in cheerleading and track, and Wyatt enjoys drama club and is working on becoming an Eagle Scout. I am so proud of them both!
