I am a graduate from West Chester University with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. I taught first grade at St. Barnabas Catholic School in Philadelphia when I first graduated. That itself was a true learning experience.

When I became a mom, I took time off from teaching full time. When I did go back to teaching, it was at a preschool. I was the Assistant Director at Kid Academy Learning Center here in township many years ago.   I've been teaching 20 years here at Wedgwood.

My goal in the classroom is to make the children feel comfortable and safe. I want my students to try their best and not to fear any ridicule. Fifth grade is a tough year, but we can have a lot of fun if we keep on task. We reap many rewards at the end of the year, if we just keep moving along.
