Mr. Appello has a BA in Music Education from Glassboro State College/Rowan College. He is a professional woodwind player and musician as well as a private lesson teacher in the SJ Area. 

Mr. Appello is currently the OVMS Band Director as well as the WTHS Jazz Ensemble Director. He has taught at Wedgwood, TJ, Bells, and Hurffville Elementary Schools in addition to Washington Township High School and Chestnut Ridge Middle School. Mr. Appello has taught grades 1 through 12 over his 27 year carrier. All of them here in Washington Township.
