Degrees and Certifications:
Mr. Blake Beares
Assignments for the week-
Please use this week as a chance to get caught up on any assignments that you may not have finished.
Use this week’s library time to read at least 20 minutes. You can access the great online/video book websites in the “Web Resources” link. I will continue to add new reading resources as I find them.
In addition, the Margaret Heggan library is allowing users to obtain a temporary library card in order to access all of the wonderful online resources they offer. See the message below for information from the Heggan library. Here is the link to their website. http://www.hegganlibrary.org/
Temporary Library Cards Now Available
We are issuing temporary library cards to those who are eligible, and the cards will allow access to our electronic resources, including e-books, recorded books, movies, magazines, newspapers, databases, and online courses. Please send an e-mail message to email@example.com to obtain a temporary library card application. Once the application is completed and the card is processed, we will send your temporary barcode and PIN via e-mail. Please allow 2-3 business days. Parents and/or legal guardians will need to initiate the temporary library card process for anyone under age eighteen. Upon the library reopening in the future, you can visit us to convert your temporary card to a permanent card so that you can check out physical materials from the library.
Please see the attached document regarding Heggan Library’s new Virtual Comic Lab, an online workshop provided by the library to facilitate creative expression through the medium of comics. The Comic Lab is available to Washington Township residents; more information regarding the program can be found both on the flyer, and on the Margaret E. Heggan Free Public Library website.
