Christina Quirk

Welcome to my webpage!  I am a Learning Disabilities Teacher/Consultant at both Bells and Thomas Jefferson Elementary Schools.

I began my teaching career in 2002 within the Salem City School District in Salem County, NJ.   My experience includes working as a special education teacher at the high school and middle school level, as a Learning Disabilities Teacher/Consultant, and as an Administrator in various roles including Special Education, Related Services, Non-Public Education, Nursing, and Curriculum.  These positions have afforded me the opportunity to work one on one with students, teachers, parents, and administrators, write lesson plans, develop and create curriculum, serve on intervention teams, assess the learning needs of students, serve as a District test coordinator, write grants, and attend leadership conferences through the Department of Education. I have also had the opportunity to teach on-line graduate and undergraduate courses within the field of Special Education for Prescott College in Prescott, AZ.

Together, my husband and I have five children, ages 9-14, who keep us very busy.  We enjoy weekend trips to the Poconos in the winter, camping trips, and spending time at the beach.

I look forward to working with you and to a great school year!  Please feel free to contact me by e-mail or phone if you have any questions or concerns about your child.
