Jennifer Sedlak
Welcome to my web page! My name is Jennifer Sedlak and I am a Learning Disabilities Teacher/Consultant on the Child Study Team at the High School. I am so happy to be working with the students and educators in the Washington Township School District.
As an LDT/C, I administer comprehensive educational evaluations. If a student is determined to be eligible for special education services, I work with teachers, related service providers, and the other members of the Child Study Team to develop an individualized education plan to meet the student’s needs. I also serve as a case manager for students with disabilities grades 9 through 12.
As a member of the Intervention and Referral Services (I&RS) team, I work with this committee to develop strategies to meet the needs of general education students who may be struggling.
This is my fifth year in the Washington Township School District, this is my 14th year working in the field of Special Education. I previously worked as a special education teacher in the Logan Township School District and the Pennsville School District.
I attended Baylor University where I earned a bachelor’s degree in All-Level Special Education. I went on to earn a master’s degree from the University of Delaware in Exceptional Children and Youth – Autism and Severe Disabilities. I attained a Learning Disabilities Teacher/Consultant certification from Rowan University.
My husband and I have two children, Sophia and Jackson, and a chocolate lab, Porter. We enjoy going to Disney World and spending time in the Outer Banks.
I look forward to working with you! Please feel free to contact me by e-mail or phone if you have any questions or concerns about your child.
