Mrs. Michelle Krueger

Hi! My name is Mrs. Krueger and I am the Primary Self-Contained teacher for Wedgwood Elementary School.  Welcome to the 2019-2020 school year!  I am looking forward to a wonderful year working with you to ensure the success of your child!

I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Marist College in Poughkeepsie NY.  Upon completion, I continued my education at the University at Albany in Albany NY earning my Master's Degree in Literacy.  I hold three teaching certificates including: elementary education, special education, and reading.

Prior to moving here, I was a second grade inclusion classroom teacher in Upstate NY for five years.  I loved my job and I loved seeing the progress my students made.  There is nothing more rewarding to me than seeing my students grow and thrive in their learning environment and to be able to share in their successes.  My husband's job brought us to Washington Twp. and I am thrilled to be here with you!  Teaching is my passion and I will do everything I can to make sure your child's needs are met and that he/she feels accepted, cared for, and supported on his/her educational journey.

I love living and working in Twp.  I am proud to be a member of this community.  In additon to teaching here, I am a Girl Scout troop leader and I am also in the process of getting our Havanese trained so that she and I can read with children at the Heggan Library during their Silent Mentors in Literacy Education program.

My husband and I have two daughters in the Twp. school system.  I truly know what it is like to be both a parent and educator in this district and I promise to offer you all of the assistance and encouragement that your family may need.  Please call, write a note, or email me with any questions or concerns.  Your child will be able to reach his/her potential if we continue to build a relationship of mutual respect and trust together.

Let's make it an epic year!
