Ms. Stacey Maugeri

Hello! I am a School Psychologist on the Child Study Team at Hurffville Elementary and Wedgwood Elementary Schools. As a School Psychologist, I administer cognitive and social-emotional-behavioral assessments, write psychological reports, consult with school staff, collect data, and develop individual education plans (IEPs) as a member of the Child Study Team. I work with school staff to develop academic and behavioral interventions, provide school-wide social emotional learning and mental health supports, engage in crisis prevention and intervention services, and case manage students who receive special education services. I love working with kids and collaborating with students, teachers, and parents to promote a positive learning environment that focuses on the needs of students and advocates for the strengths of our young learners to foster educational success!

Before starting my career in school psychology, I spent several years as an educational counselor and assisting in ABA practices in a residential facility for severe disabilities in Pennsylvania. During graduate school, I had the opportunity to work for WTPS as an in-home behavioral assistant as well as worked for Apple Counseling Services as one of their Behavioral Consultants for in home direct care services. I have a wide variety of experiences in leading PBIS programs in Delaware school systems and have experience assisting in the management and application of online and virtual assessments, as well as presenting crisis intervention professional development in NJ schools. I am currently in pursuit of my Educational Leadership doctoral degree at Rowan University and a member of their graduate honor society. In addition, I work for a research study center in New Jersey and have experience in conducting research in Cyberbullying and Bystander Effects.

Please feel free to contact me by e-mail or phone if you have any questions or concerns about your student or any questions regarding the special education process here at WTPS.
