Assessment, Data Tech, Registration, School/Community Outreach

The Washington Township Public Schools Data Technology, Registration, Assessment, and School/Community Outreach Department supports students, families, staff, and the community through accurate information, efficient services, and clear communication. Led by Mr. Mike D’Ostilio, former principal of Bunker Hill Middle School, the department works to streamline district operations and strengthen school–community connections.

Our team manages the district’s Genesis Student Information System, led by Student Data Coordinator Justin Coan, overseeing attendance, grading, scheduling, and secure data access. Led by district registrar Matt Pesyna, we also handle all student registration, including new enrollments, residency verification, and address changes, and serve as the district’s McKinney-Vento Act liaison, ensuring support for families experiencing housing instability.

We coordinate all state testing, working closely with building and district leaders to ensure assessments are organized, compliant, and accessible for all students.

In addition, our department oversees the district’s major communication and engagement platforms, including WTPS.org, ParentSquare, public relations, and community outreach initiatives. Kevin Lindstedt coordinates our district television station and YouTube platform. We also support school fundraising and help maintain strong relationships between Washington Township Public Schools and the community at large.
