Tiffany Orihel is a 20-year resident of Washington Township. She graduated from Washington Township High School and then went on to receive her bachelor’s degree from Rowan University. She holds her highly qualified teaching certificate and has taught elementary education for a total of eight years, including special education. During her teaching career, she was chair of the professional development committee, drafted the language arts, literacy, and math curricula, and was on the school leadership committee.
In 2010, she resigned to stay home with her two children, Mia Addison (8) and Jeffrey Jr. (6). She is intimately involved in numerous community and charity activities, ranging from being a Rutgers certified youth coach, Rotary board member, Education Foundation member, Washington Township Football board member, Sunday School teacher at Church of the Holy Family, and a liaison to numerous Changing Our World (COW) projects, such as the infamous hoagie sale. In her spare time, Tiffany is an avid runner, who recently completed the Philadelphia Marathon. She also teaches Spin Classes at Virtua.
She plans on bringing a new and unique perspective to the board to ensure that every Washington Township student has the optimal education and experience possible, to position them for lifelong success. “I am grateful for the opportunity to serve and give back to the community.”
