Danielle Halpin is a proud mom of three beautiful daughters, Nicolette, Haley and Isabella. Both Haley and Isabella currently attend school in the district. Danielle’s oldest daughter, Nicolette, is a 2012 graduate from the high school. Nicolette has since graduated from Montclair State University, and has started her career in TV production in New York City. She is a true product of our excellent school system. In addition to her own children, Halpin's nephews, Tyler and Ryan, attend school in the district as well. Her brother ,Greg, and sister-in-law, Donna, spoke very highly of the district’s school system, and are the reason Danielle moved to Washington Township in 2003.
Danielle is currently an administrative manager at Zurich North America, where she has worked for 20 years. At Zurich, she manages staff in four offices throughout three different states - Maryland, Ohio and Pennsylvania. Danielle also serves on the Board of Commissioners for the Gloucester County Utilities Authority.
Danielle is a creative, innovative, hard-working individual who pays close attention to detail. She strives in helping others, and often dedicates her free time by volunteering at multiple charities. Over the years, she has also served countless times as room and/or team mom for her children’s classes and sports.
Danielle ran for the School Board so she could contribute to maintaining the district’s reputation by utilizing her leadership and innovation skills. As a School Board member, her commitment is focused on encouraging a positive learning environment in which all students (especially those who struggle with anxiety issues or have special needs) can feel comfortable, safe and engaged.
