WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP – Washington Township High School English as a Second Language teacher Laurie Sibilia recently gave a presentation at the New Jersey Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages (NJ TESOL) state conference, held at the Hyatt Regency in New Brunswick on June 1, 2017.
Sibilia’s topics was, “Bounce: Teaching ESL Students Resilience.” She provided strategies for teachers to help their English learners succeed in the school environment, as well as coping with the current political climate and how that affects their families.
