Orchard Valley Middle School Celebrates Music Honorees
Orchard Valley Middle School recently celebrated the accomplishments of several of its student-musicians who distinguished themselves by garnering selections to various ensembles.
Eighth grader Raiyna Culp and sixth graders Jake Ray and William Broadbelt were selected to the Olympic Junior High Honors Band and will perform in a concert on February 1st at Washington Township High School.
Seventh-grade twins Emily Engber and Melissa Engber were selected to perform with the All-South Jersey Junior High Orchestra and performed in a concert held on January 8th at Rowan University.
Eighth-grade student Mia D'Ostilio earned a selection to perform with the All-South Jersey Junior High Chorus on January 28th and 29th in a concert held at Washington Township High School.
“We congratulate these students for their remarkable achievements and commend our music teachers, Mrs. Liz Aldrich, Mr. Frank Appello and Mrs. Alyssa Campanini, for their dedication in preparing our students for their special opportunities," OVMS Interm Principal A'ndrea Bair said.
