Music Honors at CRMS
Chestnut Ridge Middle School Musicians Earn Spots on Olympic Conference Honor Band
WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP – Six Chestnut Ridge Middle School musicians have taken their place among the best in the region, earning spots on the Olympic Conference Honor Band.
Eighth-graders Robert Duca (BB clarinet), Connor Nace (bass clarinet), Jacob Kotel (trumpet), Kristian Raices (trombone) and Ben Myers (tuba), and seventh-grader Dan Hartong (mallets) emerged from auditions at Lakeside Middle School in Millville as members of the regional ensemble.
The six CRMS students will have three rehearsals with the rest of the Honor Band leading up to its concert on Wednesday, January 31, 2018, at the Investors Bank Performing Arts Center at Washington Township High School. The performance gets underway at 7:30 p.m.
The CRMS band is led by teacher Julie Parker.
