WTHS PAWS Club Hosts First Annual "Woof-stock" Music Festival
It was a furry and festive reception at Washington Township High School on April 17th when member of the school’s P.A.W.S. (Promoting Animal Welfare Society) Club, under the guidance of advisor Karen LaRosa, hosted its first annual “Woof-stock” Music Festival. With the aid of the WTHS Jazz Band, under the direction of teacher Frank Appello, the group welcomed their friends from Gloucester County’s FURever as Friends, Inc. for a party and fundraiser to benefit the non-profit pet therapy organization. The group sold t-shirts that read “Peace, Love and Paws” as well as concessions and enjoyed the music and their invited guests.
