Art Institute of Philadelphia Representative Visits WTHS
WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP – Art Institute of Philadelphia representative Tiana Howell visited Washington Township High School Family and Consumer Science classes on Thursday, May 3rd, to speak to students about furthering their education at the city campus.
Howell showed the students a map of the Art Institutes located across the country, displaying photos of the campus and scenes of students doing work in fashion, design, culinary and media specialties.
A trained chef, Howell paid special attention to that specialty, even inviting students to check out “Petite Passion,” a restaurant operated by the school that features food prepared by the students. At the end of her presentation, Howell treated the students by showing them how to make a chocolate fondue, which they turned into chocolate-covered pretzels.
