WTHS Students in Action Sponsoring Annual "TWP Makes the Cut" Event
Washington Township High School Students in Action invite District teachers, high school and middle school students and staff, as well as community members, who are interested in helping those battling cancer and other medical setbacks, to participate in “TWP Makes the Cut.” Barbers and hairstylists will be on hand on Friday, June 1, 2018, from 2:30-7 p.m. on the school’s 9-10 Auxiliary Gym to accept donations of hair. Persons of all ages are welcome. Children aged 14 or younger must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Donations of hair from shaved heads will benefit the St. Balrdrick’s Foundation. Donations of cut hair (eight inches or longer) will be shared with Pantene Beautiful Lengths, an organization that crafts wigs for people affected by medical hair loss.
Interested donors may schedule an appointment in advance. Access https://bit.ly/2xa25mQ to have your hair cut. Access https://www.stbaldricks.org/events/mypage/9419/2018 to have your head shaved.
