Grenloch Terrace ECC Staff, Students Host Autism Awareness Event as Part of No Place for Hate Activity
Grenloch Terrace Early Childhood Center staff and students enjoy their outdoor bubble dance party as part of a No Place for Hate activity on autism awareness.
WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP – Students and staff at Grenloch Terrace Early Childhood Center completed their third No Place for Hate activity on Thursday, April 29th, with a focus on autism awareness.
The teachers read All My Stripes: A Story for Children with Autism to their classes with the goal of increasing understanding of different abilities/disabilities. Students were encouraged to listen to others’ interests in order to find ways to include others in play and social interactions.
After the students listened to the story, the entire school went outside to have a bubble dance party.
