Choral Pops Set for Valentine's Day
Washington Township High School Announces Annual Choral Pops Concert “Here and Now” on February 14th
WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP – “The Pop Experience 2019: Here and Now” will be the theme of the Annual Washington Township High School Choral Pops Concert on Thursday, February 14th, at 7 p.m. in the school’s Investors Bank Performing Arts Center (IBPAC). This year’s pop concert will feature songs about mindfulness and living in the present moment, with proceeds benefiting the Child Mind Institute (www.childmind.org).
More than 325 singers from Washington Township High School, Bunker Hill, Chestnut Ridge and Orchard Valley Middle Schools will perform together accompanied by regional cover band 39 Mariner. The concert will be staged with professional lights and sound and will include songs by Billy Joel, Queen, Whitney Houston, and many more.
Tickets can be purchased for $5, $8 or $10 online at www.wthsnj.booktix.com. In addition, donations to the event’s advertisement book through lines of encouragement can be made for just $1.
