WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP – A second show has been added for nationally renowned comedians John Mulaney and Pete Davidson at the Investors Bank Performing Arts Center at Washington Township on Sunday, March 10, 2019. The duo’s 7 p.m. set sold out the 2,350-seat theatre in just two days. A 10 p.m. show has been added for the same night. Those tickets, also selling for $47, go on sale starting at noon via Ticketmaster and at the IBPAC box office (519 Hurffville-Cross Keys Road, Sewell, N.J. 08080). Both shows are alcohol-free events.
John Mulaney got his big break as a writer on Saturday Night Live for six seasons from 2008-12. He has three stand-up comedy specials available on Netflix: New in Town; The Comeback Kid; and his most recent, Kid Gorgeous at Radio City (Emmy Award for Outstanding Writing for a Variety Special).
A current cast member on Saturday Night Live, Pete Davidson also has appeared on the MTV shows Wild ‘n Out and Guy Code; Jimmy Kimmel Live; and guest-starred in Brooklyn Nine-Nine. Davidson shot his first one-hour stand-up special for Comedy Central in 2016 and was named one of Forbes’ 2016 “30 Under 30.”
No cell phones, cameras or recording devices will be allowed at the shows. Upon arrival, all phones and smart watches will be secured in Yondr pouches that will be unlocked at the end of the show. Guests maintain possession of their phones throughout the night and, if needed, may access their phones at designated Yondr unlocking stations in the lobby (see this link for more information). Anyone caught with a cell phone in the venue will be immediately ejected.
The Investors Bank Performing Arts Center box office is open Monday through Friday from 2:30 to 6:30 p.m., and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
