WTHS Interact Club Plans “Festival of Friends” for May 16th
The Washington Township High School Interact Club is planning a reunion on Sunday, May 16th like non other when the Club resumes its “Festival of Friends,” a day of fun for adults and kids with disabilities and their families. Approximately 100 guests and 50 Interact members will be in attendance on the basketball courts behind the 9-10 wing of Washington Township High School from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Families are matched with Interact members and guided through the "carnival" to have fun at all the different booths.
“This year we are working with groups here in town, including a dance company and a local parkour company,” Interact co-advisor Kevin MacNamara said. “A few clubs at the school also are sponsoring different games that we will be playing with the families. All the food and activities are provided free from Interact and our sponsors – the WTEA and the Washington Township Rotary Club. We are so grateful that relaxed COVID restrictions will allow us to come together to enjoy an afternoon of fun and friendship.”
